Popcorn Sales FUNraiser
VENTURA COUNTY COUNCIL POPCORN FUNDRAISER
Each year, Ventura County Council sponsors a Trail’s End Popcorn sale to raise money for local Scouting programs and activities. The annual product sales of Ventura County Council provide a unique fundraising opportunity for Scouting units to raise funds to provide a quality Scouting experience for their Scouts and families. Annually, the council provides units with opportunities to participate in the fall Product Sale and spring Camp Card sale.

August 11th Catch the Wave: Popcorn Leadership Kickoff and Training @ 6:30 PM at Camp VCC
August 23rd “Show and Sell” Online Orders Due into Trails-End System
Aug./Sept. Conduct an exciting kick-off in your unit. Make the kick-off fun
and informative for your Scouts. They should have everything
They need to start selling after this meeting. Conducting your
kick-off near the start of the sale will generate the most excitement for your sale!
August 28th Make Waves with Popcorn! Youth Kick Off @ 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM at Camp VCC
August 29th Show and Sell Product Distribution (Store Front Sales Begin order enough for 2 weeks)
September 6th Mid Sale Order Due into Trails-End System by Midnight (Replenishment)
Week of September 19th 2nd Product Distribution
November 1st Sale Ends
November 8th “Take Orders” Due into Online Trails-End System by Midnight
November 5th 10% of all popcorn orders can be returned to Camp VCC by 8PM
November 10th Scout Prizes can be submitted!
Week of November 21st “Take Order” Product Distribution (Final Popcorn Distribution)
December 4th Final Payments Due to Camp VCC – Make checks payable to VCCBSA.
Saturday, January 30th – $10,000 Champions Club & $2500 Club Party

Selling online is the best way to sell to friends and family who live far away. Online sales count toward Scout rewards. Participants can send emails to friends and family asking them to purchase Trail’s End products online. The email includes a link allowing them to begin shopping right away. Customers can pay with a credit card, and the products are shipped directly to the customer by Trail’s End.
